Mooz-lum

A "Groundbreaking new film", or as referred to by the very miss-valued, underrated publicity.
As I understood and gathered around from the Mooz-lum Facebook page, it seems to me that it's a movie about the struggle. Ok, ok; before you get too judgmental and accuse me for victimizing myself and my people let me just say, it's not just about the Muslims struggle with adjusting to the society of a foreign country like the states but it's also the struggle of American people who, a large percent of them, are of poor worldly sense, to understand the meaning of being a non-christian, non-caucasian indivduals who put a new standard to the idealism most of them live in.

The story of the Mooz-lum is about a boy (Tariq) who comes to a crucial crossroads in his life where he is baffled, confused and angry. Uncertain of which road he should go down, perplexed between the austere upbringing of an Orthodox Muslim father and his new found freedom as he enters college. The maze he's struggling to finish doesn't seem to get any less complicated when the 9/11 event occurs. An inspiring story about identity.

Help to get this movie out by joining the Facebook group (linked above) and suggesting it to all your friends. Maybe we will learn that black/muslim/hispanic/atheist/caucasian...etc people should be regarded as individuals, after all, each and every one of them is as much of a human as You and I.
